What are Poron Foams?

Poron foams are high performance microcellular Polyurethane foams which offer outstanding design solutions for gasketing, sealing, vibration, sound dampening and energy absorption.

They offer superior resistance to compression set, long lasting spring force and conformability. Poron Polyurethanes are low out-gassing, non-fogging, non-corrosive and do not contain plasticisers nor other residual chemicals which contaminate devices.

They offer good chemical resistance and meet flammability requirements of UL HBF and MVSS 302.

Poron foam urethanes are easy to fabricate, they die-cut cleanly without edge collapse and are compatible with a broad range of adhesives.

A broad range of formulations have been specifically engineered to meet different design requirements.
